Risk Scoring in Retention & Analytics
Risk scores the level of risk Fairwords's system assigns an email or IM. On the Retention & Analytics system, the Risk Score is set by the Risk Engine when we scan the messages. Individual words and phrases in the Lexicon have different "Risk Values" (high, medium, low). You can change the value of these words in the Central IT Dashboard.
There are 6 Risk levels, listed below.
High, Medium, Low
A message with a score of High, Medium or Low has at least 1 Flag (word or phrase with Risk). You can fine-tune Risk, by reviewing the Risk Values of your Flags in the Central IT Dashboard under "Risk Policies".
Minimal
Messages that have been scanned for Risk, but have no flags are scored "Minimal."
Ignored
Messages that have not been scanned for risk are "Ignored". Messages might not be scanned if:
Your company only scans "Outgoing" messages
You have some Unmonitored Users and they are either messaging external recipients or other Unmonitored Users
The User is using a new username that has not been added to the User Record and Fairwords can't match the communication to a known User
Cleared
Cleared is a status that is set on a message. It can be set 1 of 2 ways:
User marks a message "cleared"
The user creates an Autoclear Rule for the sender's email and the message is Autocleared
